thus begins a new era and all that. I've heard good things about PHPWebhosting, so I've decided to go with them. I may even get that CGI Stochastic Orpheus thing up & running.
what else, what else? Put up some more prints here.
Okay, so right now I'm trying to figure out some stuff like working out how I want skeletons represented as data so I can export an armature from Blender and get it into my secret project... So I can do some sort of animating a 3D character. Problem is, I'm not really sure how I want to do it. I mean, I know how it should work, but just basic architecture stuff, and then there's the problem of me not being so great with 3D - e.g. it caused me quite a bit of grief trying to figure out how rotation worked in OpenGL.
Oh, yeah. I don't know Python, either. That certainly doesn't help.
A little while longer, though... Then I'll be ready to talk more in depth, and show, and all that, what I've been working on.
Okay, since it's so far down in the archive, : email is below.
Any comments, really, are welcome. Until people actually start commenting; then I may get picky.

Have an armature export script for <-Blender now. (Blender 233) Of course that'll be up here pretty soon. The couple of days working in python has led me to forget semicolons at the end of lines.
Anyway that's all done & I'm reworking some stuff, separating meshes with skeletons from meshes without, and then combining them again, and then separating out some stuff... Stupid design decisions that I should've made before I started, and should still sit down & think through. I took an information architecture class, after all; I should use it. But that's at a point I like; agh, it doesn't matter. Detailed information'll be up soon. No sense rambling on about it now.
